We had a fantastic time at the countryside villa surrounded by beautiful scenery and peaceful ambiance. The cabins were well-designed and had everything we needed, including a BBQ area for enjoying the view. The honesty shed was a great addition for any forgotten items. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic family holiday with comfortable and clean accommodation.
Weak WiFi signal in certain areas, requiring guests to go outside for better connection.

our recent stay in Forres was delightful, but our romantic stay at Macbeth's Hillock exceeded our expectations! The cosy pods were comfortable and well-equipped, and our host Karen was lovely. We enjoyed playing in the sand pit and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful, making our stay truly enjoyable.
The cooking pots could use an upgrade.

The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and scenic views. The facilities provided, including the shower, toilets, and kitchenette, were top-notch and very clean. the staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met and were quick to resolve any problems that arose.
While the accommodation was cozy and well-designed, it was quite small, which could be a challenge during bad weather. There was limited space to hang or store wet clothes, and the lack of a light above the kitchenette was inconvenient.

The pods were excellent - comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. The staff left us to enjoy our holiday, giving us the privacy we desired. The attention to detail, both inside and out, was excellent. Despite the small size of the pods, everything fit perfectly and the quality of the mattresses ensured a good night's sleep. The communication from Karen and George was exceptional, ensuring that our stay ran smoothly. We loved waking up to the sight of playful lambs in the field opposite the pods. we were thoroughly impressed and would definitely come back to Macbeth's Hillock. We highly recommend it to others.

The pod we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. We especially loved having our own fire pit to gather around in the evenings. The pods were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area was well-designed with individual seating and BBQ/fire pit for each pod, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We also appreciated the ample space for children to play, with a football net and sand pit provided. Plus, the location was convenient, with easy access to key attractions and facilities in the area.
The cooking pots in the pod were burnt and could use an upgrade. Additionally, the space inside the pod was quite small, which may be a bit cramped for some guests.

The location of this glamping site is absolutely stunning, with picturesque views and a peaceful atmosphere. The pods are clean and well-equipped, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Guests have access to their own fire pit, allowing for a cozy evening by the fire. Additionally, the owners are very attentive and provide excellent communication throughout your stay. The accommodation is suitable for both families and individuals, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The only downside is the presence of daddy-long-legs, which may not be ideal for those who are scared or uncomfortable around them.

The location of this hillside retreat is simply stunning. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there is plenty of room for outdoor activities and the kids to play. the pods themselves are modern and immaculately clean, with on, suite shower/toilet facilities. the wood burner outside is a great addition for cozy evenings spent roasting marshmallows. the little shop on, site is very handy and well, stocked with essentials.
The noise from the road can be a bit distracting at times.

The pod was comfortable for a family of four, well-equipped, and comparable to other similar accommodations. It felt like the owners made it for themselves, with high quality and complete facilities. The location was close to attractions and had historical significance. The owners were friendly and there was a convenient onsite shop. Would recommend for glampers.

The location of the hotel is in a peaceful countryside surrounded by beautiful scenery and livestock, providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. the cabins are well-designed, with amenities such as a shower, toilet, and sink built into each cabin. the barbeque area allows guests to enjoy the view while cooking. the honesty shed is a convenient addition who may have forgotten basic essentials.
The location may not be ideal for those who need to be closer to a specific destination, as it is not in close proximity to Forres.

Walter
The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to the A96 and various attractions in the area. the facilities in the pods were well thought out, with plenty of storage, cutlery, and sockets. the style of the pods with the Macbeth theme added a unique touch to the stay.
Some guests mentioned that the handles on the cupboards were tricky to use and a bit sore on the hands.
